Texania campestris is a species in the family Buprestidae ("metallic wood-boring beetles"), in the suborder Polyphaga ("water, rove, scarab, long-horned, leaf and snout beetles").[1][2] The species is known generally as the "hardwood heartwood buprestid".[3] It is found in North America.[2]
