Acaulospora alpina is a species of fungus in the family Acaulosporaceae. It forms arbuscular mycorrhiza and vesicles in roots. The fungus was discovered in Switzerland, in the rhizosphere of an alpine grassland at altitudes between 1,800 and 2,700 metres (5,900 and 8,900 ft).[1]
