Lotay Tshering (born 1968) is a Bhutanese politician and doctor who is the Prime Minister-elect of Bhutan.[1][2] He was also the leader of Druk Nyamrup Tshogpa from 14 May 2018 to 23 October 2018.[3][4]
Tshering served as a consultant surgeon in JDWNRH and Mongar Regional Referral Hospital before joining politics in 2013.
Tshering's party won largest number of seats in the 2018 National Assembly Election, bringing Tshering to priemiership and Druk Nyamrup Tshogpa into government for the first time.[5]
