Needslist is software social enterprise that creates logistics software for use in humanitarian crises.[1][2][3] It has headquarters in Canada and USA.

Services

Needslist produces software, often described as "a wedding registry for humanitarian aid,"[4] that enables vetted humanitarian support organizations to collate and broadcast a digital list of their unmet humanitarian needs to potential donors of humanitarian assistance and funding.[1][5] Corporate clients include WeWork, TripAdvisor, and Starbucks.[5]

Notable uses

Needslist has been used in national emergency responses in Venezuela,[4][6] Italy,[7] USA,[1][8] Greece,[1][9] Kenya, Sudan, Uganda, Iraq[10] and in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.[11]

In 2021 Needslist collaborated with Commurazione Internazionale, Diálogo Diverso y Presente Perú, CORE Group, and Scalabrini International Migration Network to create the Red Recuperación software platform to support Venezuelan migrants in Peru. The software guides migrants on how to access immigration advice, clothing, hygiene items, and food.[10][12]
