Orchestra Software is an Enterprise Resource Planning, SaaS corporation, with headquarters in Portland, OR. Orchestra develops beverage software for craft beverage manufacturers, including breweries and distilleries. The company incorporates software products pertaining to production planning & processing, sales order management, inventory management, accounting & financials, compliance, warehouse management, business intelligence, and self-distribution. Orchestra uses a completely web-based cloud system.

In 2020, Orchestra Software merged with Encompass Technologies.[1] Together, they acquired Handoff to provide SaaS solutions for the entire beverage supply chain: brewers, distillers, craft beverage manufacturers//makers, distributors, and retailers.[2]

History

2008-2020

At the end of 2018, Orchestra received its first outside investment of $14 million in VC funding.[3] With the increase in funding and employees, Orchestra moved its headquarters to downtown Portland at the base of the Fremont Bridge at 1750 N.W. Naito Parkway.[4]

Mergers & Acquisitions

In October 2020, Orchestra Software merged with Encompass Technologies, a Fort Collins, Colorado-based software and services solution for the beverage distribution industry.[5] In November 2020, Encompass + Orchestra acquired Handoff, a Denver-based alcohol delivery startup that serves retailers.[6]

Enterprise Resource Planning SaaS

Orchestra Software initially offered an enterprise resource planning Saas known as OrchestratedBEER (OBeer) for breweries[7] and OchestratedSpirits (OSpirits) for distilleries.[8] After merging with Encompass Technologies and Handoff, the product evolved into Orchestra Cloud,[9] which brought planning, purchasing, production, QC, inventory, sales, accounting, and finance together in one system.
