Rotair Industries designs, manufactures, assembles, and sells replacement parts for rotary wing aircraft.[1] It is a registered ISO 9001-2008 and AS9100[2] company that provides services for Sikorsky Aircraft, Bell Helicopter, and Boeing Helicopters. The company's capability is extended through its hydraulic test, avionics and production facilities.[3] Rotair is a registered U.S. government contractor primarily contracting with the Department of Homeland Security and Department of Defense.[4] It is also known for supporting the nonprofit Freedom's Flying Memorial.[5]
Legal issues
In 2004, Rotair Industries was fined $500000 following guilty pleas[6][7] for illegally exporting military hardware to Iran, and Wes Harrington was fined $10000 and given 1 years' probation for attempting to impede a federal investigation.[8][9]
