A handy bus is a smaller bus designed to carry 23 people to events, to schools or for a day care.[1] Some handy buses have a wheelchair-accessible lift for special needs students. Some handy buses have luggage compartments.

History of the handy bus

The first Blue Bird Micro Bird bus was launched in 1966 by Blue Bird Midwest Corporation. The Micro Bird is aimed at small children transporting to daycare and some schools. The Micro Bird comes with a Ford or GMC chassis.
