Calvert J. Craig was the Hillsborough County, Florida Superintendent of Schools during the late 1960s and segregation. He was educated at The University of Illinois at Carbondale and the University of Illinois. Appointed by the Governor of the State, he held office from Aug 1, 1966 until Jul 1, 1967.[1] He was preceded by Crockett Farnell and followed by Dr. Raymond D. Shelton.
