Karyotin is the sustainable, reticular material of the cell nucleus.[1] It is made up of eukaryotic cells and prokaryotic cells. The word Karyotin is often times never used and Chromatin is used to replace the word; it is used as a synonym.[2] Chromatin is made up of stands of DNA bound to a histone protein. The term chromatin means 'colored material' and refers to the fact that this material is easily stained for viewing with the microscope.[2]
