Nocardioides aromaticivorans is a gram-positive non-motile bacterium from the genus Nocardioides thathas been isolated from a river contaminated with dioxin in Kanagawa, Japan .[1][3][4][5][6][7] Nocardioides aromaticivorans has the ability to degrade dibenzofuran and carbazole.[7][8]
