Agile Frameworks, LLC is an independent software vendor (ISV) that provides mobile and desktop-based applications and consulting services for construction services and engineering testing firms.[1] Its products are used for field materials sampling, testing and reporting for construction sites.

The company is based in St. Paul, Minnesota, and had 13 employees as of August 2013.[2]

History

Agile Frameworks was formed as a spin-off from Braun Intertec in April 2011.[3] The new company was staffed with a combination of former Braun IT employees and workers from Systems Consulting Group (SCG), an IT consulting firm Agile Frameworks acquired on the same day it was spun out. Braun Intertec had previously hired SCG to build custom project management, finance and data collection software applications for its internal use.

Braun Intertec is a Minneapolis-based engineering, environmental consulting and testing company with more than 500 total employees.[4] In addition to offices in the Twin Cities metro area, Braun also has facilities in Little Falls, Minnesota, as well as North Dakota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Texas , Kansas City, and Louisiana.

In July 2011, Agile Frameworks announced support for Android and iPhone devices for its MetaField construction materials testing application.[5]
