RT Medical Systems is a Brazilian medical technology company that develops software and hardware used in cancer treatment. Their products focus on disease diagnosis and therapy.[1]The company supplies software for managing cancer clinics, radiotherapy centers, and medical oncology practices. The Company has already acted in the treatment of more than 18 thousand patients.[2]

History

RT Medical Systems was founded in 2017 by co-founders Pedro Piedade and Carlos Queiroz..[3] In 2018, the company integrates the NVIDIA Inception acceleration program.[4] In 2020 the company launched a system for diagnosing COVID-19.[5][6] In 2021 the company is elected as one of the 10 most innovative in the world in the Radiology segment by Industry Wired magazine.[7][8][9][10] In June 2021, the company is presented at the largest health event in the world at the invitation of the Brazilian government,[11] the BIO International Convention.[12][13][14]In May 2022, the company launched a medical imaging system at the largest health products fair in Latin America.[15]

Oncology information system

The RT Connect is a zero-footprint medical image viewer,[16] Independent dosimetric verification and Oncology Information System.[17] The software controls the flow of patients in the oncology sector, medical bills, patient records and appointments.

Secondary monitor unit calculations

RT Connect has a module for Independent dosimetric verification software for secondary check. The software performs Monitor Unit Calculations for Radiotherapy 3D, IMRT, VMAT, TomoTherapy, CyberKnife and Halcyon[18]
