External Bus Interface 2 (EBI2) provides an interface from some Qualcomm processors to slower, external, asynchronous peripheral devices. In specific, EBI2 was designed to support NAND Flash and SRAM memories and even LCD displays.

The interface supports byte-wide (BTYE), 16-bit half-word (HWORD), and 32-bit (WORD) transfers, all with software configurable control timing.
