HAIG UAVs are Chinese UAVs developed by Hongdu Aviation Industry Group (HAIG), which are revealed at Zhuhai Airshows and other defense exhibitions in China.

Blue Fox

Blue Fox (Lan-Hu or Lanhu, 蓝狐) is a subsonic UAV was first revealed at the 10th Zhuhai Airshow in 2012. Externally, Blue Fox resembles a scaledown Hongdu L-15, and is powered by a pair of turbojet engines, each providing 60 kN thrust. Specification:[1]

  • Ceiling: 8 km
  • Endurance: > 40 min
  • Maneuver overload: -2 to +6

Nighthawk

Nightjar (Ye-Ying or Yeying, 夜鹰) is a Chinese UAV developed by HAIG with applications in both civilian and military. The aircraft is a twin-boom configuration with inverted v-tail, and propulsion is provided by a two-blade pusher engine installed at the rear end of the fuselage. The land gear system is a pair of skid and the typical payload shown at the airshow is an electro-optical pod below the fuselage.[2] Specification:[3]

  • Endurance: 3 h
  • Ceiling: 3.5 km
