Astronomy:Ryu-Takayanagi Conjecture
From HandWiki
With the AdS/CFT correspondence, the Ryu-Takayanagi conjecture posed that the entanglement entropy is quantitatively related to gravitational spacetime geometry.[1][2][3] For this work, the 2015 New Horizons in Physics Prize was awarded.[dubious ] It is related to the more recent ER=EPR conjecture. By relating entropy, area and curvature of spacetime, the Einstein equations of General Relativity can usually be recovered.[4]
