Fernand Lambrecht (8 October 1934 – 16 June 2021) was a Belgian poet, writer and aphorist.[1][2]

Biography

Lambrecht published four collections of poetry and two collections of aphorisms. Poems, aphorisms and stories were published in West-Vlaanderen, Trefpunt, Kruispunt, Nieuwe Stemmen, Yang, Betoel and Radar. He has been awarded several times and received the Basiel De Craene Prize in 1966 for the poem Apocalyptic, later set to music by Maurits Deroo. A VWS cahier about him, written by Renaat Ramon, was published in 1997.[3]

Lambrecht died in Bruges on 16 June 2021, aged 86.[2]
