Biography:Fuzail Ahmad Nasiri
Template:Infobox office holder Fuzail Ahmad Nāsiri (born 13 May 1978) is an Indian Islamic scholar, Urdu writer and poet. He is professor of hadith and vice-administrator of education at Jamia Imam Muhammad Anwar Shah.
Born in 1978 in Darbhanga, Nāsiri is an alumnus of Darul Uloom Deoband. His books include Hadīth-e-Ambar, Tafhīm-e-Ilhāmi and Tafhīm-ul-Maybzi. As a teacher of Islamic sciences, Nasiri has served at Darul Uloom Azizia in Mira Road, Jamia Darul Quran in Sarkhej and Madrasa Faizan-ul-Quran in Saraspur. He holds the "Anzar Shah Kashmiri award" from All India Tanzeem Ulama-e-Haq.
Biography
Nāsiri was born on 13 May 1978 Nasir Ganj in Darbhanga, Bihar, India.[1] He completed his primary studies with his father in Madrasa Mehr-ul-Uloom in Madhubani, a town in Bihar.[1] He was schooled at Madrasa Diniya Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh and Madrasa Islamia in Darbhanga.[2] Nāsiri graduated from Darul Uloom Deoband in 1998.[1][2][3]
Nāsiri began teaching in July 1999 at Darul Uloom Azizia in Mira Road, where he served for four years.[2] In 2004, Nāsiri moved to Ahmedabad where he served as a teacher of "dars-e-nizami" in Jamia Darul Quran, Sarkhej and Madrasa Faizan-ul-Quran, Saraspur for four years.[1] Since 2008, he has taught hadith at Jamia Imam Muhammad Anwar Shah.[2][1] Fuzail Ahmad serves the Jamia as Vice Administrator of Education since 10 January 2018.[2] Nāsiri has been a regular columnist of Urdu Times for two years and his articles also appeared in Roznama Inqelab.[1]In 1996, Nāsiri began writing poetry. He is among the pupils of Kalim Ajiz with a different accent.[1] Nāsiri wrote a poem about Muhammad Taqi Usmani after he survived an assassination attempt.[4] Faseeh Asif sung the poem, and it features on Message TV.[5]
The All India Tanzeem Ulama-e-Haq awarded Nāsiri the Anzar Shah Kashmiri Award in 2014 during its Milli Convention. On 2 March 2018, he received the Allama Iqbal Award in All India Quran Competition at Mumbai.[6][7]
