Template:Infobox state representative Jason Fischer (born November 25, 1983) is a member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing the 16th District, which includes southern Duval County, since 2016. He is a member of the Republican Party.[1]

Background

Jason Fischer is a Jacksonville, Florida native who attended the University of North Florida, receiving a degree in electrical engineering. In addition to serving in the Florida House, Jason Fischer has worked for Florida Power & Light, as well as spending five years as a civilian engineer for the United States Navy Naval Facilities Engineering Command.[2] He is married to his wife, Melinda, and they have three children. They reside in Mandarin, a suburb of Jacksonville, Florida.

Jason Fischer ran unopposed in the 2016 general election, having defeated his main challenger, Dick Kravitz, during the primary.[3]
