Matthew Turk is a professor and department chair of the Department of Computer Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara, CA. He was named Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in 2013[1] for contributions to computer vision and perceptual interfaces. In 2014 he was named Fellow of the International Associate for Pattern Recognition (IAPR)[2] for contributions to computer vision and vision based interaction.
