Moidu vanimel is a South India-based journalist and photographer. Moidu started journalism as staff reporter in leading Malayalam daily Madhyamam and retired as News editor in 2017. He was concentrated writing reports regularly on political developments, environmental issues and health issues related environmental pollution more than two decades. After journalism career he started journey as wildlife photographer.[1][2][3][4][5][6]

Early life

Moidu studied in Government Sanskrit College, Pattambi completed M A in malayalam language and literature. During his college study he was actively involved as editorial board member with Padabhedham periodical.[7] Then he joined in Madhyamam Daily as Reporter then he promoted as news editor for Madhyamam Daily and Madhyamam weekly. When he was Retiring in 2017 June he was working as news editor.

As photographer

After journalism career he completed photography course from University of Calicut with A Grade in 2018. He full time concentrated in travel, bird watching and photography. As part of bird photography and documentation, conducted extensive travels to Koonthankulam Bird Sanctuary in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Odisha, Sathal in Uttarakhand, Mandal, Chafi, Choptha and pangod. Visited all the bird sanctuaries in Gujarat, Kolkata, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. He conducted a solo photography exhibition on Himalayan birds at Kerala Lalithakala Akademi Hall in Kozhikode in June 2019. He also published one short story collection in malayalam.[8]
