Philipp Sch. (nickname "Schäfchen") is a former German soldier of Bundeswehr. He served in the rank of an staff sergeant at Bundeswehr Special Forces Command (KSK). His case and other cases of anti-constitutional, extrem right-wing soldiers, led to the defunction of parts of KSK. The minister of defence AKK ordered in June 2020 a completly revision if the Command and stopped all KSK-missions abroad.

Philipp Sch. trained within Bundeswehr as an army mountain guide and was part of a number Bundeswehr-missions abroad. At KSK he served as instructor. In 2017 the military security service started to observe Philipp Sch. because of his connections to far right-wing people.[1]

In May 2020 Saxonia police arrested Philipp Sch. at his house in Collm in Saxonia. Police found a private ordnance depot at his property. He had stolen weapons, ammunition and explosives (PETN) from Bundeswehr. They found a AK-47 and other weapons. He is suspected to be involved in right-wing terrorism.[2] [3]

Treason of secrets in the investigation

A lieutenant colonel from the office of counter extremism at of military security service MAD leaked classified information about the investigation to former comrades of Philipp Sch. The lieutenant colonel got fired and banned from all access to buildings and information of MAD.[4]
