Cyperus latzii is a sedge of the family Cyperaceae that is native to Australia,[1] and found in the Northern Territory and Western Australia.[2]
The perennial sedge typically grows to a height of 0.3 to 0.5 metres (1.0 to 1.6 ft) and has a tufted habit. It blooms between June and July and produces green-yellow-brown flowers.[1]
In Western Australia it is found in swamps and along creeks in the Kimberley region where it grows in sandy-loamy soils.[1]
The species was first described in 1991 by Karen Wilson.[3][4] There are no synonyms.[5]
