Excirolana chiltoni or "Sand Piranhas" is a species of isopod in the family Cirolanidae.[1][2][3]
They live in the ocean at the shoreline, being commonly described as a "water-line isopod" [4]and occasionally swarm and bite (people and animals), vigorously.[5][6]
