Grykohor, Grekochori or Grikohor ( Greek : Γραικοχώρι / Graikokhorí ) is a village in the district of Thesprotia in Epirus, Greece. It is within the Igoumenitsa municipality. It was known as a Cham Albanian village in the region of Chameria before 1944.[1][2] The village has a population of 1346.[3]
Geography
In the north Grykohori borders with Igoumenitsa, and in the west with Ladochori.[4] Before the Second World War, Grykohor had the following neighbourhoods: Alangurénjtë, Alimàtë, Argëlézanj, Bererë, Beqatë, Cangarata, Cimenatë, Fetahenjtë, Gjinovatë, Gjinlekë, Katundi, Mamolata, Psaka, Strefatë, Sullahmatë, and Shukuratë.[5][6]
