From HandWiki
Mimechthistatus is a monotypic genus of beetles in the family Cerambycidae. The sole species is Mimechthistatus yamahoi.[1][2][3] However, some sources place this species in the genus Mesechthistatus instead.[4][5]
Mimechthistatus yamahoi is endemic to Taiwan.[1][4]
