Oenopota cinerea is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Mangeliidae.[1]

Description

The length of the shell varies between 11 mm and 22 mm.

The shells could be yellowish brown or white. The space above the tuberculated angle is smooth.[2][1]

The Oenopota cinerea has a benthos functional group, and is a predator.[1]

Distribution

This species occurs in European waters, the Northwest Atlantic Ocean and the arctic waters of Canada .

It is under a exotic conservation status in the Northwest Territories. [3]
