Pakistan Automated Fingerprint Identification System (PAFIS)[1] was lounched by Prime Minister Mohammad Mian Soomro[2][3] along with U.S. Deputy Chief of Mission Peter W. Bodde on 25 January 2008.[4][5]
Purpose
Pakistan Automated Fingerprint Identification System (PAFIS) aims to computerize critical information about criminals and criminal activities and share it with other Law enforcement agency. It also used to facilitate the analysis of criminal data.
