Profundiconus smirnoides is a species of sea snails, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Conidae, the cone snails and their allies.[1]
Like all species within the genus conus, these cone snails are predatory and venomous. They are capable of "stinging" humans, therefore live ones should be handled with caution or not at all.
Description
The size of the shell varies between 11 mm and 21 mm, The color of the shell is a bright orange color with streaks of white.
Distribution
This marine species occurs at the Norfolk Ridge off New Caledonia.
