Tree uprooting is the process where tree is being artificially pulled out of the soil with some of the trees roots attached to the trunk, so that afterwards there is only a pit left on the ground.
Transplanting
Small trees can be replanted if their root system is well attached to the trunk.[1] Trees can suffer from transplant shock when moved to new environment, and that causes the tree not to be able to root itself properly.[2]
