Tylophora pauciflora, commonly known as Kiri Aguna in Sri Lanka, is a vine in the family Apocynaceae. The specific epithet pauciflora means "few-flowered".[1][2] It is a climbing plant which is edible and has a medicinal value.[3]
Description
Tylophora pauciflora is a plant which is grown in Sri Lanka and Southern India. It is known as 'Kiri Aguna' in Sri Lanka.
Food
These leaves are used to make food in Sri Lanka, and it has many medicinal properties.[4]
Distribution and habitat
Tylophora pauciflora is native to Sri Lanka and Southern India.
Host plant
It is the food plant for the larva of Parantica aglea.
