Xanthophyllum tardicrescens is a tree in the family Polygalaceae. The specific epithet tardicrescens is from the Latin meaning "slowly growing", referring to the twigs.[2]
Description
Xanthophyllum tardicrescens grows up to 6 metres (20 ft) tall with a trunk diameter of up to 6 centimetres (2 in). The flowers are white, drying yellowish orange. The round fruits are yellowish green.[2]
Distribution and habitat
Xanthophyllum tardicrescens is endemic to Borneo. Its habitat is mixed dipterocarp forest.[2]
