A Proguibourtinidin is a type of condensed tannins formed from guibourtinidol (leucoguibourtinidin). They yield guibourtinidin when depolymerized under oxidative conditions. They can be found in Guibourtia coleosperma (the African rosewood)[1] or in Cassia abbreviata.[2]
