Bellwether Technology Corporation is a New Orleans-based managed IT services provider.
Also known as "Bellwether Technology" or "Bellwether," the company provides a wide range of managed information technology services to organizations of all sizes throughout southern Louisiana and the Gulf South.
Bellwether's core offerings include a comprehensive, outsourced IT department; project management and implementation; and cloud hosting.[1] Bellwether is also an official reseller of Microsoft, HP, Dell, Cisco, and VMware products.[2]
Established in 1980,[3] Bellwether has 55 total employees.[4] The company's main office is located in the Federal Reserve Bank building in the New Orleans Central Business District.
In 2016, Bellwether was named to CRN's Managed Service Provider (MSP) 500 list for the third consecutive year.[5] The list recognizes the top technology providers and consultants in North America.[6] Bellwether is the only company from Louisiana named to the list.
Poco Sloss is the president and co-founder of the company.[7]
