Company:Beond
Beond is a Maldivian airline headquartered in Malé.[1] It was founded in January 2022 by Max Nilov, Sascha Feuerherd, and Tero Taskila. The airline is a joint venture between Arabesque and SIMDI Group and is scheduled to commence operations in September 2023. Beond intends to connect the Maldives with cities in Europe, Asia, and Australia.[2]
History
In January 2022, in response to increased tourism in the Maldives, Max Nilov, Tero Taskila, and Sascha Feuerherd established an airline through a partnership between Arabesque and SIMDI Group. Incorporated in November 2022, the airline plans to operate three Airbus A319s and lease four additional ones from BBAM. The first aircraft is scheduled for delivery in September 2023, and the airline plans to add Airbus A321LR and A321XLR models to its fleet by 2024.
