BioTherm Energy is a leading South African developer of renewable energy sources.[1] The chief executive officer is Robert Skjodt.[2]
In 2015 it was awarded contracts for three renewable power projects in South Africa totalling 251MW.[3]
Since it was established, BioTherm has won contracts for power projects in Zambia, Burkina Faso, Cote D'Iviore and Ghana,[4] as part of its plan to be a pan-African power company.[3]
In 2019 it was sold by owner Denham Capital to Actis Capital.[5][6][7]
