History
CPL operates a production hub, which includes a large Haas 5 Axis machine shop with a cobotic system by Doosan, which in 2021 won the Institution of Engineering and Technology Award for Manufacturing 4.0.[1][2]
In 2019, Cambridge Precision won the Hunts Post Business in the Community award.[3]
To combat the global pandemic in early 2020 CPL was tasked by the British Government with producing ventilator parts which it did successfully. This work then evolved into the OVSI project along with Cambridge University and the Centre for Global Equality providing life saving ventilator parts for developing nations.[4]
