The company received the award of “European Asset Manager of the Year” for two years in a row in 2015 and 2016 and was listed among MacKay Williams’s top ranking for future leading names in asset management in 2016.[9][10]

Candriam has investment management centres in Luxembourg, Brussels, Paris and London and has distribution offices in Dubai, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland and the USA. They cover the Asia-Pacific markets (Australia, Japan, South Korea) through distribution affiliates, part of the New York Life Investments group.

Social Responsible Investments (SRI)

Candriam has been a pioneer in Social Responsible Investments (SRI) since 1996. The company states that investment opportunities and risks can’t be fully evaluated using traditional financial measures alone and that Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) criteria should be taken into consideration. (As of 2017) 26% of Candriam’s total assets are managed taking into account SRI criteria.[11]

Candriam’s social responsibility engagement goes beyond investments. They are an active advocate to foster awareness among the financial community to help build an inclusive and sustainable society.
