Its headquarters are in Woodinville, Washington.

Company history

In 2003, Bob Cartwright realized the significant challenge facing large corporate data centers in maintaining the value and integrity of their assets. After seven years of research and development, Bob Cartwright co-founded Edifice Technologies in 2010 with his wife Kathy Cartwright, who served as CEO. Senior talent from the asset management and technology industries were brought in to build the company further. During the development process it became clear that the compaby’s LightsOn software had broader market applicability, so Edifice designed the product to be usable by any organization where assets are critical, including freighting companies, farming, and agriculture and casinos.

Use of Semantic Modeling

Edifice’s LightsOn software was designed using a semantic data model by which relationships and dependencies between groups, enclosures, assets, and support entities are contextually matched in an industry specific manner.
