FileHold Systems, Inc. is a document management system software company based in Vancouver, Canada.[2][3] The company serves midsize and large organizations, including customers such as Panasonic, MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates, United States Department of Veterans Affairs, RAF Benevolent Fund, and Cemex.[4]
History
The company was co-founded in 2005 by Larry Oliver, a veteran in building and managing technology businesses, and the Dr. Jacek Lipowski, a recognized industry expert in applying state of the art computer architectures to business software applications.[5][6]
Products
The company developed the software of the same name. At the beginning, FileHold was created in order to serve the document management needs of mid sized businesses, departments of large companies and various levels of the Government.[7] FileHold Systems was one of approximately 300 worldwide companies who were selected to participate in the elite Microsoft Windows Server 2008 codename "Longhorn" Ascend Program. FileHold was built on Microsoft’s Service Oriented Architecture.[8] The software is based on Microsoft platforms and developed using Visual Studio and .NET Framework technologies.[9]
Partnerships
In March 2007, FileHold Systems attained Gold Certified Partner status in the Microsoft Partner Program.[10] The company partners with third-party components, DtSearch.[11][12]
