Company:Funnel (software company)
Funnel is a software-as-a-service company headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden[1]. It was founded in 2014 and has additional offices in Dublin, London and Boston, MA. Funnel's software aims to help marketing professionals automate data collection for reporting and analysis.
History
Funnel was founded in 2014 by Per Made and Fredrik Skantze, who were also behind the Facebook advertising tool Qwaya[2]. With their main office in Stockholm, Sweden, the company opened a second location in Boston, Massachussets in 2016[3] to better service the US-market.
In 2017, Funnel raised €8.3 million ($10 million) Series A funding in a funding round led by Balderton Capital[4]. Suranga Chandratillake also joined the board of the Stockholm-based business as part of that fundraising.
In January 2020, the company raised €42.6 million ($47 million) in Series B funding[5][6] to continue product development and customer growth[7]. One year later, the company announced it closed a new, €57.1 million ($66 million) pre-IPO funding round[8][9].
Partnerships
Media and marketing agencies like Havas work with Funnel[10]. Funnel also collaborates with several technology companies, enabling data to flow to and from their software, one of which is Google Cloud[11].
