Kabal is a multinational software company headquartered in Stavanger, Norway with offices in Houston, Aberdeen, Rio de Janeiro, Kuala Lumpur, Abu Dhabi and Klaipéda [1]. The company delivers Logistics and Supply Chain Software as a service solutions to the global energy industry [2].
Overview
Since launching in 2011, Kabal has digitized the logistics of the energy industry. The company’s main product is a cloud-based software platform customized to manage complex oil and gas logistics. Kabal enables energy operators to plan, track, and control their drilling and production operations [3].
Kabal Software features include cargo and personnel planning; supply base, vessel, and rig operations management; resource, transport, and route optimization; and sharing of business-critical data between vendors and operators [4].
Today, the Kabal software is used around the world by 6,700 companies, including majors like ExxonMobil, Shell, Chevron, TotalEnergies, BP, ConocoPhillips, Equinor, ADNOC, Anadarko, Repsol, Woodside and CNOOC [2][5]. Kabal has never lost a customer during their 12 years of operations [3].
In May 2023, Kabal received a growth investment from global software investor Insight Partners [6][7].
