History
Brian Bolam founded the company in 2002. It was originally called Sparhurst Limited, and was renamed OmPrompt Limited on 6 June 2003.[1] The name is short for OmniProtocolMessagingPlatform which is a way of describing how OmPrompt (the platform) helps translate data (messages) from any format to any other format (omni-protocol).

OmPrompt’s customers are mainly in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), and Healthcare sectors. They include Argos, Arla, Bacardi, SC Johnson, Kellogg’s, Heinz and others.[2]
