Oulmes Mineral Water (Template:Lang fr) is a bottled water company held by Groupe Holmarcom (fr). It was founded March 7 through a concession from the French Protectorate.[1]
Miriem Bensalah-Chaqroun is vice-chairwoman and CEO of the company, which recorded $178 million in revenues in 2021, according to Forbes .[2] Les Eaux Minérales d'Oulmès has about 2000 employees.[2]
History
Les Eaux Minérales d'Oulmès was founded March 7, 1933 through a concession obtained by Abdelkader Bensalah from the colonial government of the French Protectorate to exploit Ain Lalla Haya, a natural sparkling mineral water spring in Tarmilate, a village in the Middle Atlas of Oulmes.[1][3]
In 1978, the company began producing bottled mineral water under the name Sidi Ali, from the spring Ain Sidi Ali Sherif.[3]
The company was targeted in the 2018 Boycott in Morocco.[4]
