PushPress is a fitness management software platform as a service (SaaS) built for gym owners. It was founded in 2011 by Dan Uyemura and headquartered in El Segundo, California.[1][2]
History and description
In 2008, Uyemura decided to create PushPress after joining a gym where he figured out how useful it is to have gym management software for both customers and management.[3][4] In 2011, he founded PushPress and has $1.5 Million in funding, the platform allows fitness business owners to automate and streamline their business processes.[2]
The numerous activities and duties PushPress helps automate include; automating staff scheduling, member payments, and payroll processing, such as signing up new members, sending reminders to existing members, and cancelling membership.[5][6] The platform uses Webflow to build the websites for their clients.[7]
In August 2022, PushPress raised $11 million in Series A funding round led by Altos Ventures, and with participation from Mucker Capital.[8][9][10]
