Runecast Solutions Ltd. is a software development company that produces what is called a "holistic enterprise platform" for managing, securing, and compliance auditing of information and communications technology (ICT) environments.[4]
History
Runecast was founded in 2014 by Stanimir Markov, Aylin Sali, Ched Smokovic, Constantin Ivanov, and Ionut Radu, all of whom have prior experience working in VMware and ICT environments.[5] In 2015, Runecast Analyzer was developed. In 2016 Runecast raised €1.6 million in seed money.[6] In 2019 Runecast received €1.9 million in EU funding to help develop RAIKA, its A.I. enabled knowledge analysis automation.[7]
Technology
Any given ICT system has a set of rules it must follow. Depending on whether or not an ICT system is housed in cloud, on-premises, or hybrid cloud environments, that system is required to follow a given set of rules. The rules include knowledge base articles, best practices, technical specifications, security guidelines, and forum posts.[8]
Runecast AI, called Runecast Artificial Intelligence Knowledge Automation (RAIKA) converts an ICT system's rules into machine-readable data.[9] Runecast's patented rules engine processes this "machine-readable data," analyzes configurations and logs within systems environments, and delivers IT system admins with fit-gap analysis reports.[10]
Reception

- In 2019, IDG Connect named Runecast one of “20 Red-Hot, Pre-IPO Companies to Watch in the 2019 B2B Tech” space.[11]
