Safetica is a European software company founded in 2007, serving its customers through business partners in 120 countries globally. Safetica provides on-prem and cloud-native data loss prevention and insider threat protection solutions that help organizations secure their data and ensure regulatory compliance.

Safetica protects companies all over the world against data leaks and insider threats. In 2016, Safetica joined ESET Technology Alliance and expanded to the North American market and in 2019, Fortinet’s Technology Alliance Partner Program and became a Microsoft Gold Partner.

Safetica typically protects the data of both enterprises and small businesses in the fields of manufacturing, finances, healthcare, and logistics. Organizations mostly protect sensitive data, such as know-how, client databases, financial statements, designs and plans, source codes, and blueprints.

When sensitive data is lost or stolen, a company’s reputation, competitive advantage and profitability all suffer. There can also be legal repercussions.

The Safetica Story

When Jakub Mahdal lost a USB flash drive with business data on it, he realized how vulnerable company documents can be. So, he started creating a solution to keep sensitive data secure. In 2007, Safetica was born. Companies that use the Safetica solution can fully focus on growing their business without worrying about losing their data.

Safetica Solutions

Data Loss Prevention (DLP)

Data loss prevention (DLP) solutions track and report on unwanted data loss or theft and can even prevent security incidents thanks to the use of rules and policies. Data loss can occur any time your sensitive data is accidentally or intentionally shared: an email with sensitive materials gets forwarded to a competitor, a laptop with a company database gets stolen, or an employee walks away with comprehensive client lists.

Insider Threat Protection

An insider threat is a malicious or non-malicious threat to an organization that comes from internal operations and the people who have access to the organization’s data.

Insider threats are on the rise. They are driven by digital workspaces, flexible and remote work, and the agile behavior of companies that lack strict policies. Incidents may take months to discover and the longer they take, the costlier they become.

Insider Threat Protection proactively identifies security threats and prevents them before they turn into data loss. It detects potential risks based on user behavior.
