SanderMap is a provider of cloud-based solutions[buzzword] for talent management, competence profiling and development planning, lifeLong learning and employability based on the use of algorithms, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning. It was founded by Sandeep Sander in Denmark in 1989.[4] It is now headquartered in Switzerland with shared offices in Silicon Valley, Zurich, and Copenhagen. It services organizations worldwide, as an alternative to HRIS modules from ERP vendors like SAP and Oracle and solutions[buzzword] from Workday and Cornerstone.

Early history

SanderMap was founded by Sandeep Sander in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1989. Among the first clients for strategy and management development services were Egmont publishing, Canon and Credit Suisse. SanderMap has worked in 42 countries. It is now headquartered in Switzerland .

SanderMap (former Sanderman) has always worked closely with business schools and professors. Among the persons contributing important concepts were the late Sumantra Ghoshal.[5] Now it sells software and services using the SaaS model.

In 2014 the company announced a partnership with INSEAD Emerging Markets Institute and INSEADs Alumni Association, including a Global Tour. Professor Serguei Netessine and others presented ideas for business model innovation and competence implications.

In 2014 SanderMap became advisor to the Consortium for Global Talent,[6] a group of companies with over 750,000 employees.

In 2016 the group of shareholders was extended with Per Falholt, Michael Moesgaard and Richard Bissonnet.

In 2015 CEO Sandeep Sander was invited to join Innovation for Jobs (i4J),[7] a think tank working on how to improve work for more than 1 billion people, co-chaired by Vint Cerf, Vice President of Google and co-inventor of the internet.

Products and services

SanderMap released SanderMap 4.0 and 5.0 in 2015. In 2016 SanderMap 6.0 was released, and the present version is 6.3 from June 2017.

The human asset management module adds recruitment, employability, performance management workforce planning and lifelong learning.
