Tamindir.com is a Turkish software, app and game download portal which was established in 2004, İzmir, Turkey by Caner Bayraktar. The meaning of Tamindir can be translated as “Complete Download” which is the main foundations of the platform.
The website was institutionalized in 2006 and has been developing since then within the body of CNT Interactive Information Technologies Software Industry and Trade Corporation. Tamindir.com was awarded as the first by “Bilişim Yıldızları 2010” competition of Turkey Informatics Association, in the e-young category.[2] Besides this, Tamindir.com is also, Information Technologies (Hardware/Software) category winner of 2007 Altın Örümcek Web Awards[3] and won the first prize of Gelirortakları 2011 Best Original Content Producer in between various websites.[4]
In November 2011, Tamindir.com performed a comprehensive renovation and transformed into a website focused on technology.[5] In 2012, at 10th Altın Örümcek Web Awards’ Favourites of the Population section,[6] Tamindir was elected as the first in the Information Technologies Hardware/Software category. In April 2014, tamindir.com completed the age of 10 and renewed its logo.[7] Also Tamindir attended Google I/O 2013 as Sandbox Developer.[8][9]
The existing content of tamindir.com consists of Windows and Mac software promotions as well as the special studies, articles in the Blog section; cloud computing solutions in Web Services section; tablet and mobile application requirements in the Mobile section; PC and console games content in the Game section and outside or in-house produced videos in the Video section.
It is owned by CNT Interaktif A.S., a Turkish company.
