UAS International Trip Support (commonly referred to as UAS) is a privately held company that provides services that belong to the general aviation industry. UAS has continental headquarters in Houston, Johannesburg,[1] Hong Kong[2] and Dubai, as well as regional offices in China , India ,[3] Nigeria, and Kenya.[4]

UAS also runs a scholarship program to fund aviation training in Africa,[5] raising earmarked travel funds for the nonprofit organization through its Make-A-Wish Initiative,[6] and providing free trips to non-profit organizations, for example Orbis International.[7] UAS has been contributing to the NBAA International Operators Conference (IOC) Scholarship on a yearly basis.[8][9]

In December 2016, business aviation group Deer Jet concluded the acquisition of major shares in UAS to become the major shareholder. Under the terms of the agreement, UAS Group executive management continues under the leadership of both Co-Owners/Founders Mohammed Husary as Executive President alongside Omar Hosari as Chief Executive Officer. The partnership was designed to enhance the capabilities of both companies and accelerate their strategic goals.

Accomplishments

UAS was awarded Aviation Business Magazine 2014 Ground Support Service Provider of the Year,[10] Aviation Business Magazine Corporate Social Responsibility.[10] UAS has also been the recipient of the industry award Aviation Business Magazine 2015 Marketer of the Year from the American Marketing Association.[11]

UAS Functionalities

UAS business functions fall under three categories: Trip Support Services, Executive Travel Services and Air Charter Services.

UAS provides a broad complement of trip support solutions: flight planning and weather services; ground handling; short-notice overflight and landing permits; pre-arranged fuel, airport and ground assistance for crew and passengers; hotel accommodation; ground transportation; concierge services, and catering arrangements.[12] In 2015, UAS International Trip Support and EPIC Aviation announced the launch of their fuel program components, which provide substantial added value to customers in North America.[13]. Getting China in also expanded UAS[14].
