Wiiisdom - formerly GB&SMITH - is an independent software company founded in 2007 by Sebastien Goiffon and Alexandre Biegala and is currently headquartered in Lille, France, with offices in London (UK), Boston, MA, Atlanta, GA, and Montreal, Canada.[1]


History

Wiiisdom was founded in 2007 by renowned Business Objects experts Sébastien Goiffon and Alexandre Biegala. Previously named GB&SMITH the company rebranded in 2021 to Wiiisdom to better align with its vision and mission.[2]

Alexandre Biegala and Sebastien Goiffon invented a method to easily audit and update security rights through a modern user interface leveraging BI metadata which was the foundation for the company's success. GB and Smith was granted two patents for this innovation[3] [4]

BusinessObjects co-founder Denis Payre joined Wiiisdom on April 1st, 2016. In 1996, Denis Payre and his partner, Bernard Liautaud were ranked among the "Best Entrepreneurs" by Business Week, alongside Steve Jobs and Steven Spielberg.[5]

In 2020, the company completed the acquisition of Kinesis-CI Ltd, a British company specialized in BI Testing Automation for Tableau Software.[6] With this acquisition, Wiiisdom made a pivotal shift and entered the Analytics Governance market.[7] In 2021, Kinesis-CI product line is rebranded Wiiisdom Ops.


Solutions

Wiiisdom provides modern multi-BI governance solutions that certify the data accessible in different BI reports and dashboards, measure cost and user adoption by department or project, and automate operations in order to maximize the potential of data analytics for its customers. Wiiisdom provides two product lines, as described below.

360Suite - Solutions for SAP BusinessObjects and SAP Data Services

360Suite consists of a suite of nine solutions dedicated to SAP BusinessObjects and SAP Data Services:

  • 360Eyes: Solution to explore and analyze BOBJ metadata and perform impact analysis.
  • 360Bind: Solution to automate BOBJ regression tests (results and pixels comparison from Webi, Deski, Analysis for Office and Crystal reports).
  • 360Plus: Solution to enforce an incremental backup and promotion management.
  • 360View: Security administration, via a security matrix crossing Resources and Users, Bulk updates (UNV to UNX, unbounded documents)
  • 360Cast: Schedule and dynamically burst documents.
  • 360Safe: Proactive License Compliance and Asset Management solutions.
  • 360Vers: Solution to monitor BOBJ versioning.
  • 360Live: Solution to monitor and analyze BOBJ performance to ensure platform availability.
  • 360Univ: Solution to organize and document and bulk update BOBJ Universes
  • 360Eyes for SAP Data Services: Documentation and impact analysis for SAP Data Services

Wiiisdom Ops - Solutions for Tableau Software

Wiiisdom Ops is an Automated Testing solution for Tableau Software. Includes:
